Elkhorn Area High School hosts a Veterans Day observance Nov. 9 and welcomes 65 area veterans for breakfast and program. During a medley of military songs performed by the high school choir, those that served in each branch of the service were asked to stand, including Ken Ellsworth, who served in the U.S. Coast Guard.
