Ready to put on a show

“The Grunch,” a children’s musical to be performed by Lakeland Players Nov. 25-26 and Dec. 2-3, is the story of Rudy Grunch, a grumpy 6th grader who feels like an outsider so when the school prepares for a musical, he comes up with a plan to ruin it. It’s directed, choreographed and musically directed by Jessica Shaffer, Elkhorn, with assistance from student directors Elise Texidor and Amber Glassel. Linda Kouzes, Delavan, is the producer. All performances are at 4 p.m. at the Old Sprague Theater in Elkhorn. Tickets are $10 and available at the Elkhorn Area Chamber of Commerce, by calling 262-723-7733 or at lakeland-players.org.
