Stir It Up breaks record

At the third annual Stir It Up, a charitable fundraising event Nov. 5 at Elkhorn Area High School, Justina Rohde (above) and her mom, Sue, of Walworth, save enough room for dessert; Chris Clapper (right), director of the Elkhorn Area Chamber of Commerce, visits with Ward Phillips, of the Rotary Club of Elkhorn and a board member for the shelter build project. The event saw a record crowd of 700 people. Beneficiaries this year were VIP Services, Inc., New Beginnings – the Walworth County domestic violence shelter build project, and Big Foot, Elkhorn and Westosha Central high school music programs.
