EAMS students to represent at Project Lead The Way

Students and educators from Elkhorn Area Middle School are among an elite group selected to present to more than 2,000 attendees at the national Project Lead The Way conference – PLTW Summit 2017 – in Orlando. All of their travel, lodging, and dinning expenses will be covered by PLTW. They are one of just 18 groups from across the United States, chosen based on the district’s exceptional implementation of PLTW program from grades K-12.

PLTW, a nonprofit organization that provides a transformative learning experience for K-12 students and teachers, serves more than 10,500 schools across the U.S. Elkhorn Area School District offers PLTW Computer Science, PLTW Biomedical Science, and PLTW Engineering at the high school level pathways, PLTW Gateway at the middle school level, and PLTW Launch in elementary school.
