Downtown Whitewater businesses collecting for charity

Many Whitewater businesses will be collecting items for their favorite charity during Whitewater Cares – Collecting for Charity from Friday, Nov. 30 through Friday, Dec. 7.

Donations may be delivered to the following locations:

• Binning & Dickens Ins., 329 W. Center St. – nonperishable food items for the Whitewater Food Pantry.

• GMA Printing, 136 W. Main St. – nonperishable food items for the Whitewater Food Pantry.

• Robin’s Nest, 1165 W. Main St. – nonperishable food items for the Whitewater Food Pantry.

• Dale’s Bootery, 155 W. Main St. – new and gently worn footwear for Soles4Souls.

• Hamilton House Bed and Breakfast, 328 W. Main St. – new and gently used kitchen items, pots, pans, bake ware, and utensils for Bethel House of Whitewater.

• Studio 84, 121 W. Center St. – new art supplies for kids: watercolor paints, papers of all colors, crayons, colored pencils, markers, sketch books, glue, scissors, glitter, etc., and new children’s books for the Holiday Care Program of Walworth County.

• The Sweet Spot Café, 226 W. Whitewater St. – new winter gloves, hats and scarves for kids for the Holiday Care Program of Walworth County.

Whitewater Cares is an annual event sponsored by Downtown Whitewater Inc.
