The Historical Society of Walworth and Big Foot Prairie will feature businessman Robert Rauland at its fall meeting at 7 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 26.
The program will be on the History of the Rauland and Cooper Families and the Rauland Agency, Inc.
Robert Rauland has been a resident of Walworth and Fontana since his youth. He will share the story of the two families and the development of the Rauland Agency.
“First organized in 1961, it is now a very successful real estate business located in the heart of the Village of Walworth,” a press release states.
The program will be held at the Golden Years Retirement Village, Lower Level Auditorium, 270 Ridge Rd., Walworth. It’s open to the public and there is no charge to attend.
