PETER F. BRAHM

      Peter F. Brahm, 80, of Delavan, passed away Oct. 4, 2017, at Beloit Memorial Hospital.

He was born in Milwaukee on Aug. 25, 1937, to Clarence and Elizabeth Brahm. Pete married Patricia Freund on June 20, 1959, in Lake Geneva.

His family moved to Delavan in 1954. He graduated from Delavan High School in 1956. Pete was a hunter and an avid fisherman who also loved cars. He was the owner and operator of Brahm’s Service for 47 years. He recently was employed at Kunes Car Wash. One of his greatest joys was taking his grandchildren fishing. He had a great sense of humor and always enjoyed making people laugh.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Patricia; his three sons, Michael (Christy), of Darien, Joseph (Marie), of Twin Lakes, Steven (Kerry), of Elkhorn; a daughter Kathryn (William) Barrett, of Mequon; nine grandchildren, Trevor, Phillip, Melissa, Alexander, Emily, Luke, Andrew, Callen and Quinn; brothers Theodore (Janet), of Downers Grove, Ill., and John (LuAnn), of Pompano Beach, Fla.; sisters Christene Brahm, of Glen Ellyn, Ill., Mary (Daniel) Ignarski, of Hockessin, Del., and Rosemary (Chuck) Cioper, of Sheboygan; and sister-in-law, Carole Brahm, of Eagle River. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Elizabeth Brahm; his brother, Paul Brahm; and his niece, Elizabeth Brahm.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 714 E. Walworth Ave. in Delavan. Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday at Monroe Funeral Home, 604 E. Walworth Ave. in Delavan and from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday at the church. Memorials can be directed to St. Andrew’s Catholic Church.
