William “Joe” J. Biagi, 87, of Elkhorn, died unexpectedly Sept. 8, 2017, at Lakeland Health Care Center.
He was born Dec. 25, 1929, in Waukegan, Ill., to the late Joseph and Ethlyn (Morrissey) Biagi. He served in the United States Air Force from June 6, 1951 until Oct. 19, 1953. Joe worked as a Tool and Die Maker.
Joe is survived by his special friend, Ruth Eisentraut, of Elkhorn; his brother, James (Vicki) Biagi, of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Nan Welsh.
A visitation will be held 5 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Haase-Lockwood and Associates Funeral Home and Crematory 730 N. Wisconsin Street Elkhorn. A memorial service with military honors will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 21731 Spring St., Union Grove.
