Though summer is winding down, there are still opportunities to get out to community events in the area. Below are two upcoming events in the area:
The Village of Sharon will host the Stateline Playboys at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 16, downtown at Veterans Memorial Park. Attendees should bring lawn chairs and snacks and join neighbors and friends – old and new – for a fun night of music.
Big Foot Recreation will host Movie Under the Stars, from 8:50 to 10:50 p.m. on Aug. 19 (Lego Batman), at the Fontana Beach. Admission is $1 per person; children younger than 10 must be accompanied by a patron at least 13 years of age. Concessions will be available. In the event of foul weather or strong winds, the movie will be canceled.
