URBAN C. PIEPER JR.

Urban C. Pieper Jr., 80, died July 22, 2017, in Waukesha, surrounded by family He was born on Jan. 30, 1937 in Milwaukee, the oldest of three children born to the late Urban Sr. and Irene Pieper.

He was further preceded in death by his wife, Joanne.

He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, son and brother. He was a pioneer in the graphic design industry, a skilled jazz musician who played the bass fiddle and tuba and is famous for his Mr. Peeps Pickles.

He enjoyed auto racing and was an avid bowler with several 300 games to his credit. Urban was also a man whose love for the Green Bay Packers will carry on through his children and grandchildren.

Survivors include his loving partner of 24 years, Betty Anne Minta; children, John (Maribel), Jill Ann (Steve) Pustola, Jacquelyn (David) Rose and Jodi Debacco; sisters, Kathleen (Roger) Ellingson and Pamela (Robert) Boll; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

He was also loved and will be missed by Tyler and Jeny Olson of East Troy, other close relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be planned for a later date.

Donations in his memory to the Lakeland Animal Shelter, Delavan, are suggested.
