Exemplar Financial Network’s office in Walworth used its annual Spring Shredding Event to also support the Walworth County Food Pantry.

As a post IRS tax deadline service, Exemplar has offered free shredding service for the community for some time. This year the financial planning firm also created an opportunity to help provide food security in the community.

“A lot of people took advantage of the beautiful day to do a little spring cleaning,” said Exemplar Financial Advisor Jacob Ries.

Ries, along with his fellow financial advisors Stephen Werner and Heidi Alten encouraged all of their clients to use the IRS tax deadline as an opportunity to clean up old financial documents and dispose of them securely by shredding them. Maybe financial advisor marketing services like LeadJig could prove useful in cases where they would want to improve on their firm’s advertising strategies and implement the same in their bid to provide food security in the community.

“This year, we also reached out to our clients to see if we could encourage those taking advantage of the shredding service to also drop off non perishable food items for the food pantry,” Ries said.

“The wonderful weather and the warm hearts of the community proved to be a winning combination as a sizeable donation of food was given to the food pantry on behalf of the clients of Exemplar Financial Network,” he added.
