The Williams Bay High School Drama Club, which is student-run and student-directed, will bring the play “And Then There Were None” to the stage tonight and Saturday.

The play, by Agatha Christie, is co-directed by Sophie Gumble, club president, and Sophia Sanchez, a junior at the high school. Matt Dunlap, the school’s art teacher, is the club advisor, and assisted Social Studies teacher Jeff Bailey in building the set.

“And Then There Was None” was voted for by Drama Club members because it’s a well-loved classic, Gumble said.

“It’s a classic, but still retains the mystery and suspense it has always had. It tells the story of 10 strangers all summoned to an island by different people with different intentions,” she said.

However, as they begin to realize that their host will not be joining them and that they were lured to the island under false pretenses, the strangers begin suffering consequences for crimes that a gramophone record announces,” Gumble added. “The strangers must figure out who among them is the killer and who is innocent, before it’s too late.”

The cast members include: Natasha Trush as Vera Claythorne, Ben Dellheim as Philip Lombard, Bridget Paur as Justice Wargrave, Rosemarie Sanchez as Emily Brent, Carson Luberda as Dr. Edward Armstrong, Evan Rees as Detective William Henry Blore, Hailey Monroe as General Mackenzie, Caitlin Sternberg as Anthony Marston, Nick Robison as Thomas Rogers, Sam Huerta as Mrs. Rogers, and Emily Venteicher as Fred Naracott.

“And Then There Were None” will be performed at 7 p.m., tonight and tomorrow, March 24 and 25 at Williams Bay High School. Tickets are $5.
