ELIZABETH A. DAILEY

      Elizabeth “Betty” Ann Dailey, 88, of Westshire Farms, Delavan, a lifelong resident of Elkhorn, died March 20, 2017, at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center Milwaukee.

She was born April 19, 1928, in Elkhorn, to the late Raymond and Grace (Bublitz) Clauer. Betty graduated from Elkhorn High School with the Class of 1946. She was united in marriage to Howard L. Dailey on Aug. 23, 1947, in Elkhorn. Howard died July 9, 2007. Betty was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church and loved to sing in the choir, a member of the Elkhorn American Legion Auxiliary, Westshire Bridge Club, she also enjoyed playing bingo and bunco, golf and fishing. She loved to downhill ski, but her greatest joy in life was her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her two sons, Stephen (Wendy) Dailey of Winthrop Harbor, Ill., and Scott (Candice) Dailey of Burlington; four grandchildren, Kyle, Lucas and Logan Dailey, and Sarah (Brian) Keen; her brother, Robert (Barbara) Clauer of Anoka Minn., and by a host of other relatives and friends. Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Howard.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. John’s Lutheran Church 104 S. Broad Street Elkhorn, with the Rev. Tom DeGroot officiating. Inurnment will be at Hazel Ridge Cemetery Elkhorn. Visitation will be at the church on Saturday from 9 until 11 a.m. Memorials may be made to St. John’s Lutheran Church.
