Sandra Marie Bliss, 67, of rural Delavan, died at Mercy Medical Center in Janesville on Feb. 26, 2017.
She was born May 10, 1949, in Chicago to Calvin Frank Coty and Louise Theresa Hofbauer. She graduated from Delavan-Darien High School in 1967. She married Kenneth P. Bliss at the United Church of Christ Congregational in Delavan in 1971.
Sandra worked as a doctor’s office manager and later in medical records. She was an active member of UCC-Congregational of Delavan. Sandra is survived by her dear husband, Ken, two sons, Jeff (Monica) Bliss, of Kenosha, and Scott Bliss, of Delavan; a daughter, Abby (Mike Travis) Bliss, of Delavan; two sisters, Nancy (Randy) Schneider, of Janesville, and Val (Roger) Timler, of Clinton; a brother, Steve Coty, of Milwaukee; and six grandchildren.
The funeral is at 11 a.m. Friday at the UCC-Congregational with the Rev. Becky Boggs officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Grove Cemetery. Friends may call 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Betzer Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service at the church.
