Harvey P. Morgan, 79, of Elkhorn, died Feb. 21, 2017, at Aurora Lakeland Medical Center.
He was born on Feb. 13, 1938, to the late Harvey and Genevieve (Loranty) Morgan. He married his wife, Carole Klich June 11, 1960, in Chicago. They spent their lives in Chicago until moving to the Elkhorn area in 1971. He worked for many years with Sears Roebuck in Chicago while also serving our country with the Army National Guard. He then worked as a registered nurse. He also volunteered with the Elkhorn Rescue Squad as an EMT. In his free time he enjoyed being outdoors hunting and fishing.
Harvey is preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Ronald and Kathleen. Harvey is survived by his wife, Carole; children, Greg (Jerri McDonald) Morgan, Mike (Kim) Morgan, William Morgan, Melissa (Doug) Christiansen; one sister, Janice (Ken) McReynolds; two grandchildren, Amanda and Brandon Christiansen; and two great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Feb. 23 at Haase-Lockwood and Associates Funeral Home and Crematory 730 N. Wisconsin St., Elkhorn from 5 to 7 p.m. A mass of Christian burial will be Feb. 24 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Parish, 107 W. Walworth St., Elkhorn at 10:30 a.m. Harvey will be laid to rest at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Tibbets, after mass.
