Railroad Museum to have ribbon cutting

The ribbon cutting for the East Troy Railroad Museum’s new maintenance facility in Mukwonago will be at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday.

The public is invited to the East Troy Railroad Museum’s ribbon cutting for its new maintenance facility in Mukwonago at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday.

Saturday is also Rail Fan Day at the museum.

The maintenance facility is across from the Elegant Farmer at the junction of highways ES and J in Mukwonago. For those who wish to ride a train to the ceremony, departures from the East Troy Depot are at 9:30 a.m. and 10 a.m.

A short ribbon cutting ceremony will be followed by snacks and refreshments and informal tours of the facility.
