VIVIAN M. SCOTT

Vivian M. Scott, 87, of Fontana died Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012 at Health Center of Windermere in Orlando, Fla.

She was born July 17, 1925 in Chicago to the late Otto and Anna (Drofena) Mikelecky. She was united in marriage to Ralph K. Scott on July 12, 1952 in Chicago. Over the years, she resided in the Chicago area, Evergreen Park, Ill., Fontana and Winter Haven, Fla.

She was a professor of physical education and health at the Kennedy King College in Chicago, retiring in 1980. She was a member of the Sokol Town of Lakes and enjoyed volunteering at the Winter Haven Hospital and George Williams College’s Music by the Lake.

She is survived by her daughters, Pam (Judson) Pinahs-Schultz of Delafield and Kimberly (Scotty Robertson) of Orlando, Fla.; son, Robert of Atlanta, Ga.; sister, Shirley Valla of Evergreen Park, Ill. and five grandchildren. She was further preceded in death by her loving husband of 55 years, Ralph K. Scott.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 3 at the Community Church of Fontana in Fontana with Rev. Deborah Howland, officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time at the church. Interment will be in the Cobblestone Cemetery in Walworth. Toynton Funeral Home of Walworth is assisting the family with arrangements.
