JOYCE A. GLEITER

Joyce A. Gleiter, 68, of Delavan died Saturday Oct. 27, 2012 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Janesville. She was born Feb. 1, 1944 in Elkhorn to the late Theodore and Hazel (Channing) Miles. She was united in marriage to Gerald Gleiter on April 20, 1968. She was employed at University of Wisconsin- Whitewater as the custodian lead for many years.

She is survived by her husband Jerry “Butch” Gleiter of Delavan; daughter, Brenda (Jason) Wencka of Wauwatosa; sons, Robert (Patricia) Gleiter of Jefferson and Russ (Kym) Gleiter of Elkhorn; grandchildren, Mitchell, Melissa, Abby and Eli; sister, Jeanne Loback of Delavan; brothers, James (Carolyn) Miles of Elkhorn, Joe (Susie) Miles of Warrens, Robert (Kay) Miles of Whitewater and Frank (Ginny) of Fla. Also surviving are nieces and nephews. Her son, Jerry, further precedes her in death.

Funeral services will be 12 p.m. Friday Nov. 2 at the Monroe Funeral Home, 604 East Walworth Ave. in Delavan. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to service time at noon on Friday at the funeral home.     Joyce was one of the best neighbors anyone could have asked for. with out her and butch i would never been able to spend the last few months with my dad living at home. god bless the whole family
