ARTHUR F. LAZZERONI

DE 3'31'16 OBIT Lazzeroni      Arthur F. Lazzeroni, 84, of Delavan, died March 21, 2016, at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee.

He was born Oct. 9, 1931, in East Troy, to Edward Sr. and Marie (VanRossun) Lazzeroni. He owned A. Lazzeroni Painting in the Delavan and Walworth County area for more than 35 years. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy. He married Andrea Alders on Nov. 4, 1995.

Art was an avid golfer and was Delbrook Golf Course’s oldest and longest-participating member. He was a 40-year member of the Delavan Legion Post 95 and founding president of the Delavan Jaycees. He played quarterback, coached and then was on the board of directors for the Delavan Red Devils football team.

He is survived by his wife, Andrea, of Delavan; two daughters, Toni (William) Meyerhofer, of Lake Geneva, and Mary Lazzeroni, of Manitowoc; four sons, Tom Lazzeroni, of Delavan, Michael (Katie) Lazzeroni, of Delavan, David (Stacey) Lazzeroni, of Lake Geneva, and Daniel Lazzeroni, of Laona; two stepchildren, Timothy (Christine) Cashmore, of Delavan, and Anthony Cashmore, of Racine; 16 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two sisters, Carol Delonay, of Florida, and Mary Jane Miles, of Colorado; two brothers, George (Alice) Lazzeroni, of Florida, and Edward (Stephanie) Lazzeroni, of Wisconsin; and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Joan, who passed away Sept. 12, 1994; a grandson, Ries; a granddaughter, Laura; two brothers, Jim and Dick; and a sister, Ruth.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 714 E. Walworth Ave. in Delavan. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Monroe Funeral Home, 604 E. Walworth Ave., and an hour before service at the church on Tuesday. Burial will take place at 9 a.m. Wednesday at the Southern Wisconsin Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove.

The family wishes to give a special thanks to Jeff Hudak for the many years he spent golfing with Art.
