LETTER: Proud to vote for Loudenbeck

I am supporting Amy Loudenbeck for re-election to the Wisconsin Assembly because she has been a strong advocate of women, children and families. As a grandmother, mom and retired public school teacher, I am proud to give Amy my vote.

Amy worked with the Attorney General to improve Wisconsin laws to more effectively combat the crime of child trafficking, a brutal form of child abuse. She crafted legislation that gives law enforcement additional tools for investigating crime and increases protections for the victims.

Amy authored a bill to protect victims of domestic violence from out of state abusers. She voted for numerous bipartisan bills that protect women, children and families, including a bill to allow victims of domestic violence to change their names without public notice, a bill requiring GPS monitoring for certain domestic abusers, a bill that increases the penalty for a child care provider who abuses a child and a bill which allows a parent to place a child with a non-relative when short term care is needed.

We need to re-elect Amy to the State Assembly so she can continue to advocate for good public policy for women, children and families in Wisconsin.
