Buffett Bash continues to raise money for child victims

Two Seasons Bowl in Elkhorn is sponsoring its fourth annual four-day fundraiser to benefit the not-for-profit Walworth County Alliance for Children starting on Thursday, Aug. 23 with a golf outing at Evergreen Golf Club, N6246 Highway 12, Elkhorn.

The Buffett Bash event has raised over $15,000 in the past three years for the Alliance, and organizers hope to continue supporting the group through the large-scale event.

Thursday’s golf outing will start at 2 p.m. and include nine holes, cart rental and a steak dinner for a cost of $55. A silent auction will follow at the bowling alley at 6 p.m.

Thursday’s entertainment will start at Two Seasons Bowl, 830 N. Wisconsin St., at 6 p.m. featuring Dave Ellis of the “Frydaddies” until 7:30 p.m. and Jim Hoehn until 9 p.m. John Patti & John Frinzi will bring the Caribbean to Elkhorn with steel drums and island beats until midnight and then Bill Corey Entertainment will provide music and karaoke from midnight until 2 a.m.

Friday’s fun starts at 1 p.m. at the bowling alley with Margaritaville Radio’s JD Spradlin providing entertainment. Buffett Bash Veterans, the “Cedar Island Band” will take the stage from 2 to 4:45 p.m. At 5 p.m., John Frinzi comes back with a surprise guest or two, and at 7 p.m. the new “John Patti Project” will make its debut for the Two Seasons crowd.

Hitting the stage at 9 p.m. will be the hugely popular Buffett cover band, “The Boat Drunks.”

Saturday will start at 9 a.m. with Bloody Marys and mimosas before the buses are loaded for the Jimmy Buffett concert at Alpine Valley Music Theatre.

Bus rides to the concert are $35 per person and include drinks and an exclusive meet-and-greet with the “Coral Reefer Band” in the Margaritaville Shrimp Hut at Alpine Valley. Buses will depart at 12:30 p.m. for the concert, which starts at 8 p.m.

Enjoy the concert for $25 per person, and then cruise back to the bowling alley on the coach buses for more music, karaoke and dance music with Bill Corey Entertainment.

Sunday morning will start early with eggs, bacon and sausage.

Camp accommodations are available at $25 per person for one night or $40 per person for more than one night.
