Lakeland Players children’s holiday musical, “Snow Biz,” set for Nov. 28-29, Dec. 5-6

The Lakeland Players are again gearing up for another production.

However, unlike “The Rocky Horror Show,” the Lakeland Players upcoming production of the children’s holiday musical “Snow Biz,” is a bit more family friendly and focuses on its child stars.

In the show “Snow Biz,” the story focuses around an overnight “Nor’Easter” that has dumped buckets and buckets of snow. Characters such as “Shredders,” a snowboard enthusiast, Professor Snow-It-All, the Zamboni Sisters, Snow Angel and skiers, skaters, curlers, ice fisherman and more all come together for the delightful vaudeville-style musical revue.

Clever songs, zany antics and the performances of 27 talented Walworth County children are sure to leave the audience in stitches, according Publicity Chairman Linda Kouzes.

The production is directed, choreographed and musically directed by Amberleigh Aller of Lake Geneva, with Erin Lewis of Elkhorn assisting. Kouzes is producing.

Performances will be held on Nov. 28-29 and Dec. 5-6 at 4 p.m. at the Walworth County Performing Arts Center, 15 W. Walworth St., Elkhorn.

Tickets cost $10 and can be purchased at the Elkhorn Area Chamber of Commerce, by calling (262) 723-3013 and can be ordered online at Lakeland-players.org.
