Just ‘Around the Corner’

John McGivern returns to East Troy April 13 for premiere

Milwaukee Public Television will host a screening of the episode of “Around the Corner with John McGivern” featuring East Troy.

The East Troy episode premieres at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 16. A preview of the episode can be see HERE.

The public is invited to a free first look at the episode at 7 p.m. on Monday, April 13 at Alpine Valley Resort, W2501 Highway D, Elkhorn.

Seating is available on a first come, first served basis.

Local “celebrities” who are featured in the show will be on hand as McGivern gives the community a behind the scenes look at the filming of the East Troy episode.

The Emmy Award-winning host and his crew spent Sept. 16-19 in East Troy shooting for the show, which explores life in Wisconsin communities.

“Around the Corner with John McGivern” airs on MPTV (channel 10 and 10.1 and 36.2 HD) on Thursdays at 7 p.m. and is re-broadcast on Sundays on MPTV 36 and 36.1 HD at 7 p.m.

The show airs in Minnesota, Iowa, Chicago and every PBS station in Wisconsin.
