ROBERT LEE MULLIS

Robert Lee Mullis, 79, of Delavan, died Oct. 1. 2012, at Aurora Lakeland Medical Center, Elkhorn. He was born Feb. 23, 1933 in Wisconsin, to the late Fred and Hazel (Poulter) Mullis.

He married Doris Green on April 18, 1952, in Sharon. She preceded him in death on Jan. 26, 2002.

He worked in maintenance for all of his working career until his recent retirement. He was a U.S. Navy veteran serving from 1952 to 1956. During his time in the Navy, he was trained as a Deep Sea Diver. He was also a member of the I.A.M. Union.

Survivors include his twin daughters, Kathy (Carlos) Lemus and Karen Brunner, both of Crystal Lake, Ill.; sons, Art (Sue), Sharon, Don (Crystal), Janesville and Bob (Lynn), Sharon; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Phyillis Jones and Helen; brothers, Carl and Billy; son-in-law, Clarence Wegner. Also nieces and nephews.

He was further preceded in death by his daughter, Vicky; brother, Danny; a granddaughter; a grandson and two great-granddaughters.

Services were Oct. 5, at the Monroe Funeral Home in Delavan. The Rev. Mike Ida officiated. Burial followed at Spring Grove Cemetery, Delavan.
