Big Foot High School classes will resume as normal tomorrow morning after a search by various local agencies found no explosive devices, according to a press release from the school.

Students were released early Tuesday from Big Foot Union High School after the school was informed of an in-house bomb threat  Tuesday morning.

The press release said the school would remain closed throughout the evening and extra police patrols would be at the school throughout Wednesday.

The school’s website, bigfoot.k12.wi.us, said the building is secure and the incident is being handled by the Walworth Police Department and the Walworth County Sheriff’s Office.

All students were dismissed at 10:50 a.m., with buses leaving at 11:05 a.m., and students who do not ride the bus have been taken to Faith Lutheran Church, at the corner of Read Street and Devils Lane, for pick up.

The website said students were chaperoned at all times.
