To say the Lady Whippets basketball team has been on a tear would be an understatement because they have been perfect this season and remain undefeated while appearing to play stronger each week.

The most recent team to be dealt a loss by Whitewater was the Palmyra-Eagle Panthers with the Whippets dominating on both sides of the ball in a lopsided, 63-12 win.

Sarah Schumacher put up 15 points while Rebekah Schumacher added 14 in the game. The Schumacher sisters have led the team and finished 1-2 in scoring in the majority of games this season. Myriama Smith-Trajore was also a force to be reckoned with in the game against Palmyra-Eagle with 11 points.

Whitewater shot 42 percent on the night, including going 3-of-13 from three-point range and 14-of-20 from the free throw line.

The fast play of the Whippets forced an impressive 31 turnovers by Palmyra-Eagle while shooting the ball 34 times more in the contest.
