JEANNE C. KUTIL

Jeanne Cecelia Kutil, 94, of East Troy died Dec. 28, 2014, at East Troy Manor. She was born May 26, 1920, to the late Arthur and Cecelia O’Leary in East Troy.

She graduated from school in East Troy and received her master’s degree in teaching from the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater.

She married the late Edward Kutil on June 30, 1949, in East Troy where they lived and raised their family.

She was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church, St. Vincent de Paul Society, and the American Legion Auxiliary 188.

She was an avid reader and enjoyed having dinners with family and friends. She always kept current with the local community.

Survivors include her son, John, Arizona; daughters, Judi (Jim Szyjakowski) Price, New Berlin, Sue (Brian) Kesselhon and Mary (Mickey) Schirmer, both of East Troy; grandchildren, Chris, Elizabeth, Cain (Ken), Michael, Matthew Schirmer, and Mickey A.; nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends.

She was further preceded in death by her sister, Annette; brothers, John, Ray and Francis; sisters-in-law, Margaret Whiting, Ruth O’Leary and Lilian Kutil; brothers-in-law, Lee Pockat, Joe Kutil, Edward Asenbrenner, Ralph Hoefs, Tom Maroney and Coleman Hanlon.

Funeral Mass will be held at noon on Friday, Jan. 2, at St Peter’s Catholic Church, 1975 Beulah Ave., East Troy.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of the Mass at the church.

Legacy Funeral Services, East Troy, is assisting the family.
