LORRAINE M. HOLZER

Lorraine M. Holzer, 74, of Decatur, Tenn., formerly of Elkhorn, died in her sleep at her home Sept. 30, 2012.

She was born Oct. 27, 1937 in Beloit to the late Victor and Elsie (Ostrum) Legenski. She married Jerry Holzer and worked as office manager for Optical Alignment Service for many years.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Jerry; one son, David (Marilyn) Holzer of Denham Springs, La.; three daughters, Debra (Jim) Schmidt of Madison, Deanna (David) Mathiak of Lusaka, Zambia, and Dawn (Richard) Ward of Cleveland, Tenn.; three grandchildren, Jennifer (Chris) Smith, Ethan Mathiak and Michael Ward; one sister, Bea Courtney of Cameron, N.C., and her beloved dog, Kate.

She was further preceded in death by one sister, Virginia “Ginger” Zarnstroff.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 5 at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home, 730 N. Wisconsin St., Elkhorn, with Rev. Lamarr Gibson officiating. Visitation will be noon until time of services. Burial will be at Roselawn Memory Gardens Cemetery in the Town of Delavan.
