DOROTHY J. JORDAN

Dorothy J. “Ma” Jordan, 89, of Delavan, passed away on Oct. 8, 2014, at Ridgestone Village in Delavan.

She was born in Milton Junction, on Oct. 26, 1924, to Erving and Sadie (McCulloch) Klitzkie. Dorothy was united in marriage to Raymond “Jumbo” Jordan on Sept. 18, 1943. He passed away on Nov. 27, 1997. Ma was very supportive in all of her children’s sports and activities. She enjoyed spending time with her many friends and family. She was an expert card and dice player. Everyone was a friend to her, and she will be missed by many.

Dorothy is survived by her children, Judy Bradford, of Delavan, Gary Jordan, of Delavan, Robert (Jean Ann) Jordan, of Whitewater, Rick Jordan, of Delavan, Bill Jordan, of Delavan, and Jim (Kim) Jordan, of Whitewater; a nephew, Tom Kraus, of Richmond; a niece, Linda Kenworthy, of Tomahawk; a son-in-law, Gary Thompson, of Florida; nine grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond; her parents; a daughter, Penny; and a daughter-in-law, Diane.

A funeral service will take place at noon Saturday at Monroe Funeral Home. Visitation will from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Spring Grove Cemetery in Delavan following the funeral.
