Audubon to host talk on birds of Ecuador

Emily Lind, U.S. Administrator, Ceiba Foundation for Tropical Conservation, will give a presentation on the birds of Ecuador at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 25, at the Lions Field House in Williams Bay.

Lind was an International Wildlife Ecology student at University of Wisconsin-Madison who fell in love with birds while taking an ornithology course. She received an opportunity to study birds in Ecuador through the Ceiba Foundation for Tropical Conservation.

While in Ecuador, she and other students spent three weeks in the Amazonian rainforest, three weeks in the Galapagos Islands, and a month-long internship in Ecuador.

Lind will tell us not only about the birds of Ecuador but also about the work of the foundation. She is now the U.S. Administrator of the Ceiba Foundation.

There will be complimentary coffee and tea, plus snacks both before and after the program. The public is invited, free of charge.
