Fair sees dip in attendance

Thousands flocked to the 163rd Walworth County Fair from Aug. 29 to Labor Day. Despite a number of new attractions and activities, the fair saw a dip in attendance this year. Officials speculate that hot and humid weather, combined with fairgoers’ strapped for cash due to the economy, was reason for a smaller turnout.
